1. Who we are

Ampercast ("we") provides day-ahead electricity price forecasts. Data controller: [legal entity name, address — required before launch]. Contact: hello@ampercast.com.

2. What we collect

• Early-access form: your email address, the page language, which form you used, and — only if you choose to tell us — your bidding zone and user segment.
• Nothing else. This site sets no cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and loads no external resources.

3. Why (legal basis)

We use your email solely to send you early-access information and, once live, the forecasts you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering a contract; and Art. 6(1)(a) — consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

4. How long

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing — email hello@ampercast.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

6. Data sources used in the product

Forecasts are built from public data: the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform (CC-BY 4.0) and open weather models. No personal data is involved in the forecasting pipeline.
